MY STORY

Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.

With 14 years of experience in video production, photography, branding, and animation, I have told my client's stories around the globe. Currently based in Washington, D.C., I work with domestic and internationally based clients from education, entertainment, sports, social justice, and technology industries.

Being a fifth generation artist, I fell in love with visual story telling at a very young age.

What began as a decade-long affinity for animation gave way to an obsession with all things visual. When photography wasn’t enough, I had to try my hand at video, then design, animation, and finally motion graphics.

As a graduate of James Madison University's class of 2009, I received a dual major in Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Media Arts & Design: Post-Production and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Computer Animation. In 2009, I won a Bronze Telly Award for a video series called "Geometry Rules." As a creative intern at Discovery Communications, I was the featured artist who designed Oprah Whinfrey's OWN logo. In 2011, I continued to deepen my skills and knowledge in animation by pursuing advanced studies in animation through Pixar's Animation Mentor Program. Since graduating, I have traveled the world supporting international clientele, telling narratives ranging from relief organizations to global brands.

I approach the role of a story teller with enthusiasm and focus. I love my work and enjoy each new project with all the challenges they may bring. Utilizing my passion for creativity I marry functionality and visual impact into each of my solutions. I love being pushed to my limits sharpening my craft and advancing my capabilities with every step. Throughout all of my work, my drive is to craft compelling, clean and effective products, from conception to production regardless of media.
